GPH Ispat, a leading steel manufacturing company, won the SDG Brand Champion Award 2023 in 'Industry Innovation and Infrastructure' category for the groundbreaking introduction of B600C-R, the highest-strength rebar ever in the country.
The award giving ceremony titled 'Akij Bashir Group Presents SDG Brand Champion Awards 2023 in Association with Aspire to Innovate (a2i)' was held at a hotel in Dhaka on Friday, according to a press release.
The award is instituted by the Sustainability Brand Forum. GPH Ispat Limited Additional Managing Director Mohammad Almas Shimul, Chief People Officer Sharmin Sultan and other high officials of GPH received the accolade. GPH Quantum B600C-R steel rebars are made with world-class Quantum Electric Arc Furnace with high strength and complying with BDS ISO 6935-2:2016 standard.
Tested and certified by Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, GPH B600C-R steel rebars cater to the increasing demands in the construction industry.
