Half-Yearly Business Conference-2025 of Eastland Insurance held

Half-Yearly Business Conference-2025 of Eastland Insurance PLC held on Sunday, 20 July 2025 at DCCI Auditorium, Motijheel, Dhaka.

Mr Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman of the company, presided over the half-yearly conference, according to a media release. 

Distinguished Vice Chairman Mr. Rizwan-ur Rahman, and distinguished Members of the Board Mr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed and ASM Quasem attended the conference and delivered their valuable speeches.

Mr Mohammed Salim, Chief Executive Officer, attended and presented an analytical report on the Half-Yearly business of the company. 

The Chairman expressed satisfaction for achieving 83 per cent of the proportionate business target set up to June, 2025 amid the consequences faced by the world for recession of the world economy.

He appreciated the management team, including all executives & employees of the Company for rendering best efforts for business promotion during these tough time.

The Chairman further expressed his expectation that the Executives and employees jointly shall continue their all efforts to earn business of the company in the coming days.

He also stated that the Eastland Insurance Company has passed 38 years of it’s successful operation and since attained the height of sound financial strength and enviable goodwill.

Mr. Md. Shafiul Alam, Addl. MD & Head of Motijheel Branch deliver his speech. Mr. Md.Tajul Islam, DMD & Head of Underwriting & Claims,  Mr. Md. Shahriar Siddique, DMD & Head of BCD & Admin, Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, DMD & CFO, Mr. Md. Sattar Howlader, DMD& other Senior Executives of the company also attended the conference and delivered their speeches.
