Health checkup for female held by GPH Ispat

A day-long free health checkup programme was held by GPH Ispat Limited on Thursday for its female employees, and wives of male employees at Kumira, Sitakundu.

In the inaugural speech, GPH Ispat Chief Operating Officer T Mohan Babu said GPH has organised the free health checkup for women under an employee wellbeing initiative, according to a media release. 

GPH Ispat Chief People Officer Sharmin Sultan said if the female members of the family are healthy, the officers and employees will be worry-free and work efficiently.

GPH Ispat media advisor Ovik Osman said that GPH has always been working in the service of people.

In addition to providing free oxygen services in the past during the Corona period, GPH currently provides health checkups, specialised medical health talks, eye camps, diabetes screening, child health care and circumcision to local residents, the release adds.
