ICSB delegates meet with Governor of Bangladesh Bank

A delegation from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB), led by its Senior Vice President, Mr M Nurul Alam FCS, met with Dr Ahsan H Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, on 5 September 2024. On behalf of the delegation, the Senior Vice President congratulated Dr Mansur on his appointment as Governor of Bangladesh Bank, introduced the Council Members, and apprised him of the various activities undertaken by ICSB for the professional development of its members, as well as its future plans, says a press release.

The Governor of Bangladesh Bank gave a patient hearing and assured the visiting ICSB team of his best possible support for the Institute.

The ICSB delegates thanked the Governor for his valuable time and sought his continued support and guidance to help the Institute move forward in achieving its objectives.

Mr A K M Mushfiqur Rahman FCS, Vice President; Mr Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Treasurer; Mr Mohammed Harun-Ar-Rashid FCS; Mr Abul Fazal Mohamed Rubayat FCS, Council Member; Mr Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan FCS, Council Member; Mr Md Zakir Hossain, Secretary & Chief Executive Officer; and Mr Md Shamibur Rahman FCS, Executive Director (F&A) of the Institute, were present and participated in the meeting.
