Income tax return submission deadline extended by a month to Jan 31

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for submitting annual income tax returns by one month for all categories of taxpayers, except companies.
The NBR issued an order on Tuesday, extending the deadline to January 31, 2025.
The official deadline for filing income tax returns for FY 2024-25 was December 31 of this year.
In a media statement, the NBR’s public relations division announced that the deadline extension came in response to requests from taxpayers across various professions.
