Following the successful hosting of Joyee Corporate Connect on March 18–19, 2025, IPDC Finance PLC, in collaboration with the World Bank We-Fi Program and SME Foundation, organised a high-level CXO Roundtable titled “Accelerating Inclusive Supply Chain through WSME Engagement” as part of its ongoing commitment to transforming the women-centric business landscape.
The CXO roundtable convened top corporate leaders and successfully inspired participating CXOs to consider onboarding WSMEs into their own supply chains, according to a press release.
Rizwan Dawood Shams, the Managing Director of IPDC Finance PLC also joined the roundtable alongside other CXOs, where he shared IPDC’s vision for integrating women-led enterprises into inclusive supply chains.
As a symbolic gesture of this shared vision, all guests received an eco-friendly souvenir pen made by Joyee entrepreneur Probha Aurora, reflecting IPDC’s commitment to empowering homegrown businesses.
“We are consistently working to bring meaningful changes to the women-centric business landscape. Through our Joyee 360 initiative, we aim to support women entrepreneurs with both access to market and capacity development.
While the CXO Roundtable, organised by the World Bank’s We-Fi Program, focused on supply chain inclusion, IPDC is complementing it by equipping aspiring women entrepreneurs with practical training to become institutional suppliers,” said Mr. Rizwan Dawood Shams, Managing Director of IPDC Finance PLC, during the roundtable.
Further strengthening this momentum, IPDC Finance PLC also organised a capacity development session titled ‘Connecting Enterprises with Joyee’ on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the IPDC Joyee 360 Sub-Branch in Mirpur.
This event was designed to provide practical tools and guidance to women entrepreneurs aspiring to become institutional suppliers.
The session featured two core segments. The first segment, titled ‘Banking Solutions for Institutional Suppliers & Business Sustainability’ was led by Md. Nomanur Rashid, Senior Vice President, Mutual Trust Bank PLC.
The session focused on financial inclusion, business readiness, and strategies for long-term growth.
