Islami Bank Barishal Zone organises agent banking confce

Barishal Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC has organised ‘Agent Banking Business Development Conference and Workshop on Prevention of Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing’.

The bank arranged the event at Zilla Shilpakala Academy of the district on Monday, says a media release.

Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director and CEO of the bank, addressed the conference as the chief guest on a virtual platform.

Mohammed Shabbir, deputy managing director of Islami Bank, and A S M Rezaul Karim, senior executive vice president of the bank, addressed the conference as special guests.

AKM Mahbub Morshed, executive vice president of the private bank, presided over the function while Md. Abdus Sobhan, head of Barishal Zone, Md. Saiful Islam and Kazi Mohammad Ismail, assistant vice presidents, Mohd. Abul Kashem & S M Kawser, first assistant vice presidents of the bank, addressed different sessions of the conference.

The head of branches and proprietors of the agent banking outlets under the zone attended the conference.
