Islami Bank Foundation holds discussion on National Mourning Day

Islami Bank Foundation on Monday arranged discussion and doa program marking the 48th National Mourning Day and the martyrdom anniversary of father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Held at the IBF hall room, Professor Dr Kazi Shahidul Alam, freedom fighter and chairman of IBF, addressed the program as chief guest. 

Dr. Mohammad Saleh Zahur, vice chairman of IBF, Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, chairman executive committee of IBF and vice chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, Mohammad Quamrul Hasan, Md. Fashiul Alam, Sayed Abu Asad, and Showkat Hossain, FCA, members of IBF, Mohammad Joynal Abedin, director of IBBL, Mohammed Monirul Moula, managing director and CEO of the bank and member of IBF, addressed the program as special guest.

Presided over by Muhammad Ali, executive director (acting) of IBF, Saleh Iqbal, Md. Abul kalam and Abdus Samad, general manager of IBF and Prof. Dr. Tarek Al Naser, senior consultant and director of Reference Lab, Dr Mozammel Hossain Khan, Training coordinator, among other officials and employees of IBF participated the program. 

Besides, discussion and doa were organized at Islami Bank Hospitals, Islami Bank Community Hospitals, Islami Bank School and College, Technical Education Institutes, Medical College and Health Education Institutes run by Islami Bank Foundation. Free medical camps were also arranged by the Islami Bank Hospitals.
