Islami Bank holds a month-long entrepreneurship programme

Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA) organised closing ceremony of a month-long Entrepreneurship Development Programme under the supervision of Bangladesh Bank on June 19, 2025, Thursday, at IBTRA Auditorium.

Husne Ara Shikha, executive director of Bangladesh Bank addressed the program as the chief guest, according to a press release.

Md. Altaf Hossain, additional managing director of the bank addressed the programme as special guest.

K.M. Munirul Alam Al-Mamoon, deputy managing director & director general of IBTRA presided over the program while Md. Nurul Kowser Saief, joint director of Bangladesh Bank attended the programme.

Md. Mizanur Rahman Mizi, executive vice president of the bank addressed the welcome speech and Abdul Hamid Miah, senior vice president thanked the audience.

A total of 25 potential entrepreneurs participated the 1st batch of the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP) project, a joint initiative of Ministry of Finance of the Government of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Development Bank.
