Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC and Pundra University, Bogura, along with TMSS Medical College and 14 other educational institutions operated under TMSS, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the university auditorium regarding fee payments through CellFin and mCash.
Under this agreement, students can now deposit all types of university fees and other payments through any branch, sub-branchor agent outlet of Islami Bank alongside theCellFin and mCash, according to a press release.
In the presence of Professor Dr. Chittaranjan Mishra, Vice-Chancellor of Pundra University and Engineer Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Additional Managing Director of Islami Bank, Professor Dr. HosneAra Begum, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Pundra University and Sikder Md. Shehabuddin, Executive Vice President of Islami Bank, signed the MoU.
Earlier, a seminar titled “Islamic Banking and Its Digital Products: Acceptance and Benefits” was held at Pundra University of Science and Technology. Rotarian Dr. Md. Matiur Rahman, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Pundra University, Md. Maznuzzaman, Executive Vice President of Islami Bank along with bank’s senior executives, heads of various departments of the university, heads of affiliated educational institutions, teachers, officers and students were present at the event.
