Islami Bank organises webinar on Shari‘ah Awareness

Chattogram South, Chattogram North, Noakhali and Cumilla Zones of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organised a webinar on ‘Compliance of Shari‘ah in Banking Operations’ on Saturday.

Mohammad Solaiman, FCA, Chairman of the Audit Committee of the bank addressed the webinar as the chief guest, while Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director addressed the programme as a special guest, according to a press statement. 

Mufti Sayeed Ahmed, Vice Chairman, Shari‘ah Supervisory Committee of the bank addressed the webinar as the chief discussant and Md Shamsuddoha, Senior Executive Vice President presented key note on the topic.

Meah Md Barkat Ullah, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Chattogram South Zone presided over the programme, while Mohammad Nurul Hossain Kawsar, Executive Vice President and Head of Chattogram North Zone addressed the welcome speech.

A F M Anisur Rahman, Executive Vice President and Head of Noakhali Zone addressed the vote of thanks.
