Professor Dr. M. Zubaidur Rahman, Chairman of Islami Bank, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest.

He highlighted that while the bank has faced challenges in recent years it has successfully turned obstacles into opportunities for progress.

“Those joining the bank today will lead the banking sector tomorrow. You must work with this dream in mind and strive for professional excellence to build a ‘Developed Bangladesh’ and a modern Islamic banking system,” he said.

The programme was presided over by Managing Director Md. Omar Faruk Khan.

Special guests included Additional Managing Directors Md. Altaf Hossain, Mohammad Jamal Uddin Majumder, and Dr. M. Kamal Uddin Jasim.

They urged the recruits to prioritize customer service, noting that the bank’s success is built on the trust of the people.

The speakers called on the young officers to play a vital role in accelerating the bank’s growth and contributing to the overall development of the national banking sector.
