Islamic Bank inks agreement with Commerce Plex on remittance services

Islamic Bank Bangladesh PLC and Commerce Plex Limited, Canada signed an agreement on remittance services, according to a press release.

Md. Omar Faruk Khan, additional managing director of Islami Bank; and Bachir Njeim, chief strategies and operations officer of Commerce Plex Limited, Canada; signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations on Monday at Islam Bank Tower.

Md. Rafiqul Islam, deputy managing director of Islami Bank; Sanjana Farid, country manager of Commerce Plex Limited; Mohammad Masud, head of Treasury and Fund Management Division; Md. Motahar Hossain Mollah, head of the Foreign Remittance Services Division; and Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, head of the Overseas Banking Division of Islami Bank, along with executives and officials from both institutions, were present on the occasion.
