Jamuna Bank inaugurates 170th Branch at Naria, Shariatpur

Jamuna Bank PLC has inaugurated its 170th branch, the Naria Branch, at Naria in Shariatpur, further strengthening its commitment to providing modern, efficient and customer-centric banking services across the country.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Md. Abdus Salam, Additional Managing Director & COO of Jamuna Bank PLC, as the Chief Guest, according to a press release.

The program was presided over by Md. Abdus Sobhan, Divisional Head of NRB Banking & Foreign Remittance and Banking Operation Division of the Bank.

Khulna zonal head, managers of nearby branches, local representatives, members of the business community and a large number of valued customers and dignitaries were present at the event.

During the ceremony, special emphasis was placed on foreign remittance inflows, particularly from Europe, with a focus on Italy, where a significant number of NRBs reside and regularly send substantial remittances to the country.

Jamuna Bank PLC maintains strong global remittance partnerships, enabling NRBs to remit their hard-earned foreign currency smoothly and securely to their beneficiaries through the newly opened Naria Branch.

The inauguration of the Naria Branch is expected to enhance financial inclusion and facilitate faster and more reliable banking and remittance services for the local community.
