Jamuna Bank organises School Banking Conference-2025 at Moulvibazar

Under the guidance of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank, the School Banking Conference-2025 was successfully organised in the Moulvibazar district, with Jamuna Bank PLC taking the lead in hosting the event.

All scheduled banks operating in the district participated in the conference, reflecting a strong collective commitment to advancing financial literacy among the youth, according to a media release. 

The conference was presided over by Mr. Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director and CEO of Jamuna Bank PLC Mr. Rup Ratan Pine, Executive Director of the Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank, attended the event as the Chief Guest.

Special Guests included Mr. Md. Iqbal Mohsin, Director of the Financial Inclusion Department, and Mr. Fazlur Rahman, Education Officer of Moulvibazar District.

The event was also graced by the presence of senior officials from all scheduled banks in the region, further emphasising the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting school banking initiatives.

The conference concluded with a vibrant cultural programme and an engaging quiz competition, aimed at encouraging students’ interest in banking and financial education, the release adds.
