Janata Bank PLC has rolled out two major digital initiatives - the NFC-enabled "Taka Pay Card" and the "E-Credit Management System", aiming to enhance customer service and modernise loan disbursement through digital transformation.
The bank launched the initiative marking the celebration of Tarunner Utsab (youth festival) 2025 on Sunday.
Special Assistant to Chief Adviser Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the bank's Customer Service Fortnight along with the Taka Pay Card launch.
Finance Ministry's Financial Institutions Division secretary Nazma Mobarek attended as the special guest and launched the E-Credit Management System.
Janata Bank Chairman Md. Fazlur Rahman chaired the event.
