JCI Dhaka North declared new committee for 2025

The office of the board of directors of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka North was announced for the year 2025 by the annual general assembly held in capital’s Ascott Palace recently.

JCI Bangladesh President Mr. Kazi Fahad, Secretary General Mr. Zafir Shafee Chowdhury, Treasurer Mr. Irfan Uddin, vice president and Chapter Mentor for 2025 of JCI Dhaka North Mr. Masrur Mahmood Shuvo were present at the event, according to a press release.

Founding president of JCI Dhaka North Senator Data Magfur, 2003’s Senator Anirban Aftab, 2013’s Rebeka Sultana Binti, 2014’s Seefat Jahan, 2017’s Senator Delwar Hossain, 2019’s Senator Mahira Habib, 2021’s Fatima Akter Naz, 2022’s Senator Shakhawat Hossain also joined the event along with reputed industry professionals, community leaders, and media personalities alike.

The election committee was chaired by Senator Tushar Malek, 2025 Strategic Planning Chairperson of JCI Bangladesh

Ms. Sumaiya Haque was elected as the new president of JCI Dhaka North for 2025. Outgoing president Shahriar Hasan Jiisun officially handed over the presidential chain to the newly-elected president.

S M Mohiuddin Salim and Noor E Ashrafi were elected as vice presidents, and Shafiuddin Ala Raju was elected as executive vice president.

Zakia Ferdous Nondita was elected as secretary general, Asif M Shabab was picked as general legal counsel, Md. Nur Nabi Mehedi as treasurer, and Naimul Kader as training commissioner.

The new leadership also included Rashad Reaz as executive assistant to the local president and Shaikh Ahmed Showmik as JCI in Business (JIB) Chairperson.

Irfanur Rahman, Fardin Al Gafur, Mohammad Aliur Rahman Sohan, M Mehrab Mansur, and Tribeni Biswas Alice were elected as directors.

The selected local committee chairs were Farzana Islam Moury, Md. Rezwanul Haque Zahin, and Nayem Hossain Mojumder.
