"Business Development Meeting-2025" was held in Dhaka on Saturday, April 19, 2025, with the participation of regional and branch managers and field officers of Karmasangsthan Bank's Dhaka, Dhaka North, Gazipur and Narayanganj regions.
Dr. AFM Matiur Rahman, Chairman and former Secretary of the Board of Directors of Karmasangsthan Bank, inaugurated the meeting as the chief guest, according to a media release.
Managing Director Arun Kumar Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Meher Sultana and General Manager Md. Shafiqul Islam Miah were present as special guests.
Muhammad Masudur Rahman, DGM of Dhaka Divisional Office, presided over the meeting.
In his speech at the meeting, the chief guest emphasised selecting the right entrepreneurs and distributing quality loans.
He also called for further increasing the efficiency of the work during the remaining period of the fiscal year and achieving 100 per cent targets in all business indicators.
In his speech, the Managing Director called for transforming Karmasangsthan Bank into a developed, customer-friendly institution in line with the world.
He advised everyone to make up for the shortcomings in all indicators by utilising working hours with innovative ideas and a positive mindset.
He also emphasised creating more employment opportunities through the distribution of loans to new entrepreneurs.
