Marcel releases new home appliances

Marcel has released a lot of new models of appliances to grab its target of bagging 30 per cent growth in the sales in 2018 compared to the previous year’s sales.

The local electronics and electrical appliances manufacturer has released huge power-efficient fridges, air-conditioners, televisions, home and electrical appliances in the market.

Marcel officials said that their sales has been jumped up by 30 per cent to 35 per cent on an average for the last couple of years.

Thus, the manufacturing company set a target of registering more than 30 per cent growth in their sales in 2018 and the previous year, says a media release.

Dr. Md. Shakhwat Hossen, head of marketing department of Marcel, said they are adding latest technologies and new models of appliances to their existing product lines.

To meet the target, it has taken several initiatives like releasing new models of products of the advanced technologies, increasing sales and service points, bringing the post sales services into on-line services.

Moreover, the local brand has also been holding conferences with the dealers, and they are declaring attractive promotional packages for both the distributors and the customers, according to the officials.

Marcel is manufacturing and marketing more than 50 sorts of electronics, electrical, home and kitchen appliances with the state-of-the art technologies and advances machineries in its factories in Gazipur.

The engineers of Marcel research and development department are adding huge power-efficient latest technologies to their products to cut down the products’ electricity costs, the officials said.

The sales representatives of Marcel, application of latest technologies, world-class quality, reasonable rates and swift post sales service are resulted in gaining huge customers’ popularity rapidly.

Now, it has more than 50 models of frost, non-frost refrigerators and freezers of Marcel in the local market.

The local brand added new models of refrigerators with inverter technology’s compressors, which are around 50 per cent power-efficient than the refrigerators with general technology’s compressors.

For the well-fashioned customers, Marcel released attractive design refrigerators with tempered glass door of 333 liters, 317 liters, 320 liters, 295 liters, 265 liters, 176 liters and 193 liters.

This year Marcel added inverter and Ionizer technologies air-conditioners to the existing models.

Mr. Hossen said their sales has already been surpassed the company target for January and February this year.

“The prime season of selling fridges, air-conditioners, televisions and others air-conditioning appliances started. Thus, sales will increase in the coming months,” he said.
