Meghna Bank holds 13th Shariah Supervisory Committee meeting

The 13th meeting of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of Meghna Bank PLC was held on Tuesday at the bank’s head office in Dhaka.

Dr. Md. Anwar Hosain Molla, Chairman and Faqih Member of Shariah Supervisory Committee presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

The meeting was attended by Faqih Members Dr. Muhammad Saifullah, Mufti Abdullah Masum and Mufti Sazzadur Rahman. Banks’ Deputy Managing Director Md. Sadiqur Rahman, Chief Financial Officer Sajib Kumar Saha and Head of the Islamic Banking Division Md. Shah Alam along with other members of the bank were also present in the meeting.

During the meeting, key discussions were held on compliance, development strategies and ensuring Shariah principles in all Islamic banking operations of the bank.
