Meghna Industrial Economic Zone Ltd, China Infrastructure Construction BD Co Ltd sign agreement

Meghna Industrial Economic Zone (MIEZ) Ltd., a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), has signed a Land Lease Agreement with China Infrastructure Construction BD Co., Ltd. on Sunday, September 08, 2024.

MIEZ Ltd. Director Mr. Tanveer Mostafa and China Infrastructure Construction BD Co., Ltd. Managing Director Mr. Li Yongjiang signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations, according to a media release. 

MGI Chairman & Managing Director Mr. Mostafa Kamal was present as chief guest in the signing ceremony. Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh Director of Publicity Office Mr. Zhang Xiaoliang was also present at the signing ceremony.

China Infrastructure Construction BD Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of China Yunnan Lituo Pipe Pile Group and is one of the most powerful foundation construction and Prefabricated Pipe Pile production enterprises in Yunnan Province, China.

As per the agreement, China Infrastructure Construction BD Co., Ltd. will establish its Prefabricated Pipe Pile factory in MIEZ.

The company will invest approximately 9 million US Dollars in Bangladesh. The investment includes establishing production area, equipment area, office area, material warehouse, and finished product in approximately 3 acres of land inside MIEZ Ltd, the release adds.
