Mercantile Bank and National Pension Authority signs MoU

Mercantile Bank PLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Pension Authority on 13 July.

The MoU signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mo-zumder, Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, as the chief guest, according to a press release.

The MoU was signed by Managing Director of the bank Ma-tiul Hasan and Executive Chairman of National Pension Authority Md. Mohiuddin Khan on be-half of their respective organisation.

As per the agreement, Mercantile Bank will facilitate the collection of installments of various schemes launched under the Universal Pension Scheme of the National Pension Authority through its Online Banking facility, Mobile Banking Service "MyCash", Digital Banking App MBL Rainbow, Agent Banking, Internet Banking and other Delivery Channels.

Managing Directors of 17 Banks along with High Officials was present in the ceremony presided by the Executive Chairman of the National Pension Authority at the Meeting Room of Department of Finance, Ministry of Finance, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka.
