Mercantile Bank distributes open agri loans in Feni

Mercantile Bank PLC has distributed open agriculture loans among 47 farmers of Feni, Laxmipur and Noakhali districts in a ceremony arranged at an auditorium in Feni.

Arif Hossain Khan, executive director of Bangladesh Bank Chattogram region, was present at the programme as the chief guest, says a media release.

Md Zakir Hossain, DMD of Mercantile Bank, Md. Abdul Ahad, joint director of Bangladesh Bank Chattogram region, Aynul Kabir Shamim, president of Feni Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Md Ekram Uddin, deputy director, of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Feni, joined the function as special guests.

Farid Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, SVP & head of the bank’s Cumilla-Noakhali zone, presided over the ceremony.

Mohammad Shafruzzaman Khan, FVP & Head of Agriculture Credit Division of MBPLC, spoke on the occasion.

Jobaidul Islam, joint director of Bangladesh Bank Chattogram region, was the keynote speaker of the session.

HOBs and credit In-charges of MBPLC Cumilla-Noakhali region, distinguished local representatives, political leaders, and farmers were also present on the occasion.
