Mercantile Bank donates fertiliser among farmers in Noakhali’s Sonaimuri

Mercantile Bank PLC donated fertiliser among the marginal farmers at Nateshwar, Sonaimuri in Noakhali on Sunday from the special CSR fund of the bank.

Morshed Alam Chairman of the bank and Member of Parliament in Noakhali-2, handed over fertilisers among the farmers as the chief guest, according to a media release.

Mahbub Jamil, VP and Head of the bank’s Chowmuhani branch, presided over the ceremony.

Md Ala Uddin, Deputy Assistant Agricultural Officer, Kabir Hossain Khokan, Nateshwar UP Chairman, Golam Sarwar, Nateshwar High School, Mirza Zahirul Haque Mamun, President of Nateshwar Union Awami League, Md Rahmat Ullah, General Secretary of Nateshwar Union Awami League, Jahangir Alam, Leader of Union Jubo League, and a large number of farmers were also present on the occasion.
