Microbus registration in the country witnessed a significant decline in 2018 compared to that recorded in 2017.
A total of 4,137 microbuses were registered in 2018, while it was 5,575 the year before, according to the statistics provided by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
At the latest, a total of 101,376 such mode of vehicles have been registered with the BRTA in the capital until 2018, it said.
The number of registered microbuses in the capital stood at 5,224 in 2015 and 5,804 in 2016, the BRTA data further added.
