Midland Bank Asset Management Company Limited gets new CEO

Mr Mohammad Saleh Ahmed joined Midland Bank Asset Management Company Limited (MDB AMC) on January 1, 2024, as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Midland Bank Asset Management Company Limited is the newly-formed subsidiary company of Midland Bank.

Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, MD and CEO of Midland Bank, along with members of Midland Bank Investment Committee, welcomed Mr Saleh through a ceremony held at the new office premises of Midland Bank Asset Management Company Limited in Gulshan-2 in Dhaka, according to a press release.

Mr Saleh, an investment professional, has two decades of experience in asset management including expertise in overall areas of merchant banking operation. He was the CEO of SHOFOLAMC & Alternative Venture Limited.

Mr Saleh made his debut in the merchant banking profession at Prime Bank in its Merchant Banking and Investment Division. He also served at EXIM Bank, Trust Bank and IIDFC Capital Ltd. in different responsible positions.
