As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme, Midland Bank Limited (MDB) donated BDT 15000 pcs of blankets to the “Prime Minister’s Relief Fund” for the cold-stricken poor people of the country.
Mr Rezaul Karim, Director and Chairman, Executive Committee and Mr Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Directors and Chairman, Risk Management Committee of Midland Bank, presented a token blanket to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a programme held in the Prime Minister’s Office, initiated by Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB), on Thursday, according to a press release.
Earlier, the bank, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programme, donated Tk 10 million to the “Ashrayan Project-2,” to provide housing for landless and homeless families of the country. And it also donated financial assistance to the Prime Minister’s Education Assistance Trust. Besides, the Bank operated multiple other CSR activities throughout the year in 2023 for the betterment of the society.
