The Management of Midland Bank Limited has donated Tk 1.0 million to Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund to help fight the coronavirus.
The Management of the Bank has contributed this money for sourcing/procurement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Coronavirus Testing Kit and respiratory equipment supplying for the affected people and also to conduct relief operations for the marginal people of the country, who became jobless due to prolonged lockdown.
Earlier, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), MDB as a member of Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) donated BDT 0.2 million to the “Prime Minister’s Relief Fund” on 31st March.
