Midland Bank organises Annual Agent Banking Conference 2026

Midland Bank PLC organized the Annual Agent Banking Conference 2026 at Six Seasons Hotel, Gulshan, Dhaka, on 7 February 2026.

Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, inaugurated the daylong conference as the chief guest and presided over the conference, according to a media release. 

Agent Banking Centre owners and representatives of Agent Banking Centres of the bank participated in the day-long conference.

Amongst others, Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director & CRO and Md. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director and Head of IT & CTO, Javed Tarek Khan, Head of Institutional Banking Division, Members of Midland Bank Agent Banking Rollout Committee, Divisional Heads, Head of Branches, Business Development Officers of Agent Banking Centres were also present on the occasion.

During the ceremony,doa seeking divine blessings of Almighty Allah, for the welfare, progress and prosperity of the bank’s agent banking and the country as well, were held.

A prize-giving ceremony was also held at the end of the conference. The bank distributed crests and certificates among the top performers in different categories, the release adds.
