Midland Bank Limited (MDB) has organised a drawing competition among the children of MDB employees on at the campus of fine art (Bakultola of Charukala Institute) of Dhaka University recently.
Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) of the MDB, was present at the programme as the chief guest. He distributed prizes among the winners of the competition.
Dean, Fine Art of Dhaka University, Prof Nisar Hossain and Prof of Graphics Arts Department F M Kaisar also joined the programme as judges to select the winners.
Children, aged below 15 years, participated in the drawing competition divided into three groups (1-5 year, 6-10 year and 11-15 year), says a media release.
The bank selected drawing subjects for each group and prizes were distributed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of each group.
A total of 48 children participated in the half-day long programme, which started at 9:00 am and ended at 1:00 pm.
