Midland Bank signs MoU with Air Astra Airways

Midland Bank (MDB) signed an MoU with Air Astra Airways, the premium brand private airline in the country.

Mr Md Rashed Akter, Head of Retail Distributions at MDB and Mr Mohammad Mozammel Haque Bhuiya, Head of Marketing and Sales at Air Astra Airways, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at a simple ceremony held on January 22, 2024, at the bank’s head office in Dhaka, according to a press release.

Under the agreement, all MDB cardholders will enjoy a 10 per cent discount with an EMI facility for up to 6 months at 0 per cent interest while purchasing tickets from Air Astra Airways for domestic destinations.

Mr Md Abed-Ur-Rahman, Head of Cards and Mr Sazal Ahmed, Merchant Relationship Officer of MDB and Mr Khandokar Ariful Islam, Assistant Manager, Marketing and Sales of Air Astra Airways, were also present at the signing ceremony, along with other officials of both organisations.
