Midland Bank PLC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Olwel on 22nd October 2025.
Olwel, a Finland-based company, has developed an innovative digital service platform that connects qualified and trained General Practitioners with patients, enabling them to receive medical care directly at home, according to a press statement.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the Midland Bank’s Head Office in Gulshan-2, Dhaka.
Mr. Md. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Chief Technology Officer of Midland Bank, and Dr. Feroz Salahuddin, Director, Medical Operation of Olwel, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Under this partnership, all Midland Bank cardholders (Debit, Credit and Prepaid) will enjoy 10% discount on Telemedicine (GP doctors only) and Doctor Home Visit Services, 10% discount on Parent Care Plan and up to 25% discount on Home Sample Collection and Lab Tests (collection fees excluded) from Olwel.
Md. Abed-Ur-Rahman, Head of Cards, Midland Bank; and Md. Rajib Hossain, Dr. Shakil Mahmud, Co-ordinator, Health Services, Olwel, were also present at the event, along with officials from both organizations.
