Mizanur Rashid appointed new Deputy Managing Director of City Bank  

City Bank has recently appointed Mizanur Rashid as DMD &Chief Business Officer for its Digital Banking arm.

Mizanur Rashid brings over 30 years of diverse experience across the fintech and consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries, with a proven track record of driving scale and sustained growth.

He previously served as Chief Commercial Officer at bKash Limited, where he played a key role in building the digital payment ecosystem for bKash & its users. Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at Unilever across Bangladesh, India and the Gulf region, as well as various roles at British American Tobacco Bangladesh.

City Bank believes that Mizan’s extensive experience and strategic expertise will play a pivotal role in accelerating the bank’s digital transformation journey.

Mizanur Rashid holds an MBA degree from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
