Modhumoti Bank donates Electric Cart to Department of Prisons under CSR initiative

Modhumoti Bank PLC donated a 12-seater electric cart under the bank’s CSR program on Thursday to the “Department of Prisons, Dhaka” to facilitate inter-transportation in Dhaka Central Jail, according to a press release.

Mr. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Modhumoti Bank, handed over the key of the cart to Colonel Md. Tanvir Hossan, Additional Inspector General of Prisons, Department of Prisons, at the Dhaka Central Jail premises in Keraniganj, Dhaka.

The program was graced by the presence of distinguished members of the Board of Directors, including Mr. Salahuddin Alamgir, Chairman of the Executive Committee; Mr. Mohammad Ismail Hossain and Mr. A. Mannan Khan, Members of the Board of Directors.

Mr. Md. Shafiul Azam, Managing Director & CEO of Modhumoti Bank;Mr. Arif Hasan Khan, SEVP & Chief Risk Officer of the bank; Senior Jail Supers Ms. Suraiya Akter and Mr. Md. Tayef Uddin Mia; along with senior officials of both organizations, were present in the event.
