Modhumoti Bank donates Tk 1.80 million to Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital

Modhumoti Bank PLC has donated Tk 1.80 million to Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital under the bank’s CSR program on Thursday for cataract surgeries of underprivileged eye patients in rural areas, according to a press release.

Mr. Md. Shafiul Azam, Managing Director and CEO of Modhumoti Bank, handed over the cheque to Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Chowdhury, Chairman of Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital, at the hospital premises located on Kamal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka.

Dr. Niaz Abdur Rahman, Managing Director of Bangladesh Eye Hospital & Institute, Mr. Shahnawaj Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director, Mr. Arab Fazlur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Business Officer of the bank, along with high officials from both organisations, were present at the program.
