Modhumoti Bank holds ‘AML & CFT Conference 2025’

Modhumoti Bank PLC. organized “Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism Conference 2025” on Saturday at the International Conference Center, Police Staff College, Mirpur, Dhaka.

Mr. Md. Mofizur Rahman Khan Chowdhury, Executive Director & Head (CC) of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) delivered an insightful speech in the inauguration session as the Chief Guest. Mr. SalahuddinAlamgir, Chairman, Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of MMBPLC, and Mr. A. Mannan Khan, Director of the Bank, were present as Guests of Honor.

Mr. Shahnawaj Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director of the Bank presided over the conference as Chairperson. Among others, Mr. Arab Fazlur Rahman, DMD & CAMLCO, Management Committee Members, Divisional Heads of Head Office, Branch Managers& Operations Managers, loan and foreign trade related officials of Dhaka based Branches were present in the event inperson and around 800 officials of the Bank throughout the country have joined the conferencevia virtual platform. Ms. JuairiaHaque and Mr. Sahalam Kazi, Joint Directors of BFIU & Mr. Md. MahbubulAlam, SP & Director-Training of Bangladesh Police Staff College have conducted sessions as Resource Persons in the conference.
