Modhumoti Bank organises 'Annual Risk Conference 2025'

Modhumoti Bank PLC. organized “Annual Risk Conference 2025” on Saturday, 13^th December 2025 at its Head Office in Gulshan, Dhaka.

The inaugural session was graced by Mr. A.N.M. Moinul Kabir, Director, Department of Offsite Supervision, Bangladesh Bank, as the Chief Guest, who delivered an insightful and thought-provoking keynote address, according to a media release. 

Mr. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Modhumoti Bank PLC, attended the conference as Special Guest and shared his valuable perspectives.

The conference was presided over by Mr. Md. Shafiul Azam, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the bank.

A dedicated technical session titled “Risk Management in Banks: Regulatory Perspective” was conducted by Mr. Robin Chandra Paul, Deputy Director, Department of Offsite Supervision, Bangladesh Bank.

At the event, the bank’s Additional Managing Director, Mr. Shahnawaj Chowdhury; Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer, Mr. Arab Fazlur Rahman; Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, Mr. Arif Hasan Khan; along with Divisional Heads from various Divisions of the Head Office, Managers and Operations Managers of Dhaka-based Branches, and Officials involved in Credit & Foreign trade were present.

In addition, more than a hundred officers of the bank from different parts of the country were connected to the event through virtual platform, the release adds.
