Modhumoti Bank PLC inaugurates its 53rd branch at Jhenaidah

Modhumoti Bank PLC. has been continuously expanding its banking footprint through branches, sub-branches, and agent banking points, with a vision to extend its services further and gradually bring underserved communities under the umbrella of financial inclusion.

As part of this ongoing initiative, the bank inaugurated “Jhenaidah Branch” as its 53rd branch at Sher-e-Bangla Road in Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila on Thursday, December 4, 2025, according to a media release. 

Mr. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Modhumoti Bank, inaugurated the branch as the Chief Guest of the inauguration event.

Mr. Salahuddin Alamgir, Chairman of the Executive Committee, and the Members of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mohammad Ismail Hossain and Mr. A. Mannan Khan, were present as Special Guests at the event.

Mr. Md. Shafiul Azam, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank, presided over the event.

The event was also embraced by the presence of Mr. Shahnawaj Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director; Mr. Arab Fazlur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Business Officer and other Senior Officials of the bank.

Mr. Md. Moazzem Hossain, President of the Jhenaidah Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Md. Samsul Alam, Founder and Executive Director of the Socio-Economic Health Education Organization (SEHEO), as well as prominent local businesspersons and dignitaries, were also present at the event.
