Modhumoti Bank signs MoU with MAY International Trade Services Ltd

Modhumoti Bank PLC has signed an agreement with MAY International Trade Services Ltd. on Monday (August 18), to utilise the Maritime Data & Analytics Platform, the first-ever solution developed locally by a Bangladeshi company.

The signing ceremony was attended by distinguished officials from both organisations, according to a press release.

Representing Modhumoti Bank, Mr. Md. Shafiul Azam, Managing Director & CEO, graced the event, accompanied by Mr. Shahnawaj Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director, Mr. Arab Fazlur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & CBO, and Ms. Fahmida Saeed Saki, SEVP & Head of International Division, as well as the concerned team officials.

On behalf of MAY International Trade Services Ltd., Mr. Syed Aminul Kabir, Managing Director & CEO, was present along with Ms. Layla Kowkine Ara, DMD, and other senior officials.

With access to real-time vessel movements, shipping routes, and port activities, the bank can enhance its due diligence processes, minimize trade-related risks, and reduce exposure to fraudulent activities.
