Dr Moinul Khan has been appointed as the new Chairman (Secretary) of the Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission (BTTC).
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding the appointment quota of the President on Wednesday.
He is a member (Grade-1) of National Board of Revenue (NBR). Dr Moinul has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Commission on Deputation under the 10 per cent quota of the President, said a gazette notification.
Prior to his retirement, he will return to his own cadre. The order will come into immediate effect.
