Motorcycle registrations increased slightly in the country in 2019 compared to that of 2018, according to official data.
The number of registered motorcycles in the country stood at 406,897 in 2019 which was 395,603 the year before, as per Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) statistics.
However, such mode of vehicle registration decreased slightly in Dhaka in 2019 compared to that of 2018.
99,256 motorised vehicles were registered in Dhaka in 2019 while it was 104,064 in 2018, the BRTA data disclosed.
