MTB Foundation inaugurates water treatment tlant for marginalised community at Patharghata

As a part of MTB Foundation’s commitment towards the Environment sector of the country and its pursuit to ensure sustainable access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), MTB Foundation recently inaugurated a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Patharghata, Barguna, Barishal.

The Water Treatment Plant, a public drinking water system that uses different water treatment methods to provide safe drinking water, will resolve the region’s long-standing safe water crisis and create access to safe water, according to a media release. 

The programme was inaugurated by Samia Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer, and Golam Rabbani, Associate from MTB Foundation.

Among others, Shahabuddin Panna, Executive Director, Nazrul Smriti Sangsad – NSS was also present at the inauguration ceremony.
