MTB inks deal with Fintech Innovations International DMCC

Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has recently signed an agreement with Fintech Innovations International DMCC, UAE, at a simple ceremony held at MTB Centre, the bank’s Corporate Head Office located in Gulshan in the capital.

Sumit Kumar Roy, President and CMO of Fintech Innovations International DMCC, UAE, and Md Bakhteyer Hossain, Head of MTB International Trade Services Division (MITS) of MTB signed the deal on behalf of their respective organisations.  

Under the agreement, MTB will become a subscriber of ‘TRADE ASSETS’ digital platform with is the first blockchain-powered trade finance e-Marketplace, said a press release.

Being a subscriber of the e-Marketplace, MTB will be able to reach out to all foreign financial institution members of the platform directly, with a view to executing trade finance related transactions instantly.

Azizunnessa Huq, Executive Director of Fintech Innovations International DMCC, UAE, A T M Nesarul Hoque, Vice President of MTB and other senior officials from the bank were also present at the occasion.
