Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) has introduced a new internal engagement initiative titled ‘CEO Connect’, marking a significant milestone in the bank’s journey to strengthen open dialogue and closer leadership engagement.

According to a press release, the initiative aims to provide selected employees with a unique opportunity to interact directly with the Managing Director and CEO in an engaging and inclusive setting—something arranged for the first time in MTB’s history.

The inaugural session of CEO Connectwas held on 20 January 2026 at the MTB Board Room, with the participation of 30 employees representing different segments and functions of the bank. Designed as a conversation rather than a presentation, the session focused on listening, shared experiences, and understanding employees’ journeys, ideas, and aspirations beyond formal reporting structures.

Speaking on the initiative, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of MTB, emphasized that the spirit of “Mutual” lies in partnership and connection—not only with customers, but also among colleagues.

He noted that meaningful conversations often happen in smaller, more personal settings, and CEO Connect is intended to create that space. Through this initiative, MTB reaffirms its commitment to a people-centric culture, open communication, and inclusive leadership.
