Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) and ActionAid International Bangladesh (AAIB) have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bear the expenses for education and vocational training of vulnerable girls residing in the ‘Happy Home’ hostel supervised by AAIB.
Farah Kabir, Executive Director, ActionAid International Bangladesh (AAIB) and Azam Khan, Group Chief Communications Officer, MTB signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations at a ceremony held at the office of AAIB at Gulshan 1 in the capital, according to a media release received today (Sunday).
As part of the MoU, MTB will be engaging in participatory development and empowerment of women in Bangladesh through providing quality education, the release added.
