Mutual Trust Bank, Dvive Financial Services sign remittance disbursement agreement

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) and Dvive Financial Services Ltd marked a significant milestone on April 25 (Thursday) with the signing of a remittance disbursement agreement for wage earners and service remittance at the bank’s corporate head office in Gulshan 1, Dhaka.

Md Shafquat Hossain, deputy managing director and divisional head of retail banking from MTB and Anisul Islam, director and CEO from Dvive signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and CEO, Rais Uddin Ahmad, deputy managing director and company secretary of MTB, Khondoker Asif Khaled, vice president and in-charge, non-resident banking, of MTB and Francis Gomes, director, sales and marketing, Mahbubur Rahman, chief compliance officer and Cyprian Gomes, chief operating officer from Dvive among other senior managements from both organisations were present.

The agreement signifies a strategic collaboration between MTB and Dvive, aiming to streamline and improve the disbursement of wage earners and service remittances. The partnership is expected to bring about greater convenience for the beneficiaries of the foreign remittance and further strengthen the position of both organisations in the financial services sector.

Dvive is a registered MSB (Money Service Business) headquartered in Canada, committed to offering easy, affordable and secured access to the financial system for the wage earners and freelance community of Bangladesh and other emerging economies in South America, Africa and South East Asia.
