Mutual Trust Bank holds BM and BAMLCO Conference

Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) arranged Branch Manager (BM) and Branch Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (BAMLCO) Conference on November 08, 2025 to update and create awareness on key deliverables for Anti Money Laundering & Combating Financing of Terrorism (AML&CFT) compliance.

According to a press release, more than 130 and 295 participants attended physically and virtually respectively. Branch Managers, BAMLCOs and Corporate Head Office executives were present at the day-long hybrid conference.

The event was graced by Md. Mofizur Rahman Khan Chowdhury, Executive Director & Head of Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) (Acting), as chief guest. The conference was hosted by Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MD & CEO of MTB. Sajjad Hossain, Additional Director, BFIU, and Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Joint Director, BFIU were present as guest speakers. Additional Managing Directors, Deputy Managing Directors, Management Committee, and Central Compliance Committee (CCC) members of MTB were also present at the conference. Rais Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer moderated the event.
