National Bank holds ‘Card Business Conference’

National Bank PLC organized a Card Business Conference on 25 August 2025 at the National Bank Training Institute. In addition to physical participation, many managers also joined the conference virtually via Zoom Platform, according to a press release.

Mr. Imran Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, attended the event as the Chief Guest. Also present were Mr. Kazi Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director (In-charge); Mr. Md. Rajunur Rashid, EVP & Head of Branch Operations Division; Mr. Ashish Kumar Laskar, EVP & Regional Manager, Dhaka South; Mr. A.S.M. Helal Uddin, SVP & Regional Manager, Dhaka North; and Mr. Ujjal Kumar Paul, VP & Head of Cards (CC), along with branch managers and officials from both Dhaka North and South regions.

The conference served as a platform to discuss strategies for expanding card business and enhancing service quality. Key discussions included market insights, direct customer feedback, business growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, and innovative approaches to increase market penetration.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Mr. Imran Ahmed highlighted the growing importance of digital banking in today’s financial landscape. He stated that card-based transactions are central to delivering superior service, ensuring security, and building customer trust. He encouraged all officials to remain committed, professional, and customer-focused to strengthen National Bank’s position in the competitive market.
