National Bank hosted its Regional Business Conference in Jashore on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Jashore IT Park Hotel & Resort.
The event was graced by Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo, Chairman of National Bank as the Chief Guest, according to a press statement.
The conference was attended by Mr. Md. Abdus Satter Sarkar, Chairman of the Audit Committee & Independent Director and Mr. Md. Zulkar Nayn, Independent Director.
Also present were Deputy Managing Directors, Khulna Regional Manager, Managers and Operations Managers of 20 branches in Khulna region and Managers of 8 sub-branches in Khulna region.
At the time, Chairman Mr. Abdul Awal Mintoo stated that National Bank plays an indispensable role in the country’s economy.
"The bank has been consistently contributing to the garment, agriculture, and small and medium enterprise (SME) sectors."
He urged branch managers to focus on recovering classified loans, increasing new deposits, and improving the quality of customer service.
Additionally, he emphasised the importance of showing enthusiasm in introducing attractive deposit products to customers, the statement adds.
