National Bank PLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Life Insurance Company Limited to provide insurance benefits to its credit card customers.
The agreement was signed at the bank’s head office by Managing Director Adil Chowdhury and Chief Executive Officer of National Life Insurance Md. Kazim Uddin on behalf of their respective organisations on April 15, 2026, according to a press release.
Under the agreement, credit cardholders of National Bank will enjoy insurance coverage, including accidental death and sudden demise benefits, subject to payment of a specified premium.
Senior officials of both organisations, including top executives and the Head of the Card Division of the bank, were present at the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director of National Bank PLC said the initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to offering modern, customer-centric financial services and enhancing customer protection.
